Whats real motive behind dwelling on apostles healing power compared to today?

I know people closeby who have been healed so whats the point on studying and harping on the apostles healing power as if its totally different than today? I know someone who dwells on this and is negative.

I can see both good and bad motives for emphasizing the apostles over those today…. hard to say what an individual person’s motives may be.

One purpose of miracles is to highlight a truth. The apostles truth was somewhat bedrock. Doesn’t mean people cannot be healed today.

Is metaphysical/metaphysics something that supernatural like a power or a spiritual thing?

What exactly is metaphysics.

I went to a psychic today and …?

if u eva been to a psychic, and had to pay for the cure, if necessary, results did show? I firmly believe in astrology, Eva since I'm a kid, and the cost for me Healin 190, but I pay 100 payments. I do not think it is better da Eva. I also believe in astrology … but healing meditation has nothing to do with astrology.

Why are some Christians against things like yoga, meditation and psychology?

Some Christians forbid yoga, meditation, psychological counselling, reflexology, acupuncture, tai chi, martial arts, ayurvedic medicine, biofeedback etc. They claim that acupuncture, yoga and meditation invoke a demonic spiritual power since it is Eastern mysticism. But where on earth can u find any evidence of such a thing? Isn’t it ok to try yoga for exercising, meditation for relaxation and acunpuncture to treat some illnesses (acupuncture has been accepted by Western medicine).

Stanley, I am a lapsed Catholic and practise meditation as well as yoga. No religion tells me what to think or feel or demands I go to hell. Religion has a right to exist as long as you and I have our rights to do what we want within the confines and constraints of the law.

You must do what you want to do and not be guided by religious hatred or other peoples opinions.
