manifestation meditation

What is SyncCreation?

I found a flyer at a local bookstore. The brochure says it is a demonstration Workshop and lectures on the use of Hemi-Sync Meditations. Hemi-Sync I've heard before, but I have not heard of SyncCreation. What is SyncCreation? Thanks!

SyncCreation is a series of meditation audio CD focus on expressing and creating things of life. I can use the kit home study-book what they offer and I love it! During my pregnancy MUCH helped me relax and assisted me in the direction of my energy on what I was creating for my birthday (which went well, thanks!). Further, I swear I saw the essence of myself once in a free state of meditation that inspired one of my tattoos. (I'm putting a link for this) I have also gone to a couple of workshops lay. It was relaxing, enjoyable and rejuvenating. In fact, I have aa level of consciousness that I felt I could feel every cell of my body. One of the things I thought was cool during the workshop suggested that the donation to a charity as a group at first so I started with a note of peace. (I will put a link to which I was a) I experienced many results, so I'm really thinking about attending the workshops in Las Vegas they have. (It looks very interesting / out of the box, I'll put a link to it as well) Overall I would say SyncCreation has provided a lot of tools in my life. I recommend it to nadie.-Mimi (a working mother, wife, artist, homeowner)

mind power

What power does the brain / mind have on cells?

Does the brain (or mind, whatever you want to call it) has power over cells our body? Can you change the way we do and replace each other, or change the way we look?

The term "mind" is soft. I do not believe there is agreement on the definition used by biologists and neuroscientists. The brain is a complex organ that can regulate many other systems organ, either by the chains of neurons that enervate different tissues (cause muscles to contract). Electrical impulses are sent by neurons that signal chemical release at synapses to communicate with another neuron or muscle. Other ways the brain communicates with other cells is through the release of hormones in the bloodstream. Hormones may change the activity of the digestive system (never start salivating in anticipation of food? Just the idea of eating is enough to release more saliva and start pumping protons from the stomach and digestive enzymes. In an unconscious way, the brain can change how cells grow. During puberty, many hormones return signals to initiate cell division and differentiation in the sexual organs mature. hormonal signals the brain play a role in the regulation of menstruation involves the growth of uterine lining and egg maturation in the ovary. signals of the hormone in anticipation of sex, can make facial hair grow faster. However, you may not want anything to grow. Most of these signals are not under conscious control.

which school of Buddhism would you choose and why?

Hi there,

After some time reading and joining some meditation sessions in different schools of Buddhism I came to realise that if I want to get somewhere I better stick to one practice-tradition.

But I find them all so deep and interesting that it’s becoming a hard choice.

I see Theravada maybe as a more direct technique, but Zen is so beautiful and rich! Tibetan is the one with least points, but I’m open to your arguments if you see it as the best option.

Thank you very much!

Andy

I chose to be a member of Soka Gakkai, Because it’s roots are based on the Lotus Sutra, the only Sutra that promotes equality of all human beings which of course includes women. Unlike other Sutrats that say you have to be reborn as a man before you can attain enlightenment. I also like Soka Gakkai efforts to promote Peace, Culture, and education ,even though some buddhist who follow different Buddhists schools slander us. Just look at what they are doing for world peace, and look at what we are doing, You decide.

How Meditation Taoism is different from the Zen meditation?

Which is better? And that Taoism teaches Zen meditation comparing meditation?

One follows the teachings of Lao Tzu. And the other follows the teachings of Gautama Buddha.

What’s a good book to read about meditation?

Something for noobs. I know nothing about meditation, how it’s done, it’s purpose, the different methods, etc.

I’m not even sure I wanna get into this. But what’s a good book to give me an idea to what meditation is all about?

I’m not sure of any titles offhand, but there really isn’t much to it.

Sit, close the eyes, and shut out the outside world completely. Force yourself to remain in a state of thoughtlessness, simply in a state of existence, without sensory data, without thoughts or scenerios.
Focusing on the rhythm of your breathing or on a single point on the back of your eye lids helps.

You’re mind will try to continually distract you with new thoughts and such, do not entertain them, let them pass through you like water. Observe the chaos in your own mind, see how it tries to constantly fool you, how it constantly tries to beckon you to connect with the world. But yet without the world, without thoughts, motions, gestures, scents, sounds and feelings… you are here. now.

Good luck. It takes a lot of discipline at first. Keep at it.

Please help me decide which colors to use?

I want to paint my meditation room, and I know for sure I want the ceiling to be purple, but I can’t decide whether the walls should be purple, pink or a combination of both…please click on the link and help me decide. Which layout looks better

Thanks

Personally I’d consider a “muddy” sort of blue or green-gray. When you’re sitting and staring for a while, you’ll start to see the color negative of whatever you’re looking at. For example, if you stare at a red object, then look at a white wall, you’ll “see” an outline of the object in green on the wall. Getting something that’s close to gray (which is its own negative) minimizes this effect.
