What do you all think of the New Age Movement?

New Age spirituality, whatever you wanna call it. Is it the Devil’s religion? Is it a scam? Tell me your thoughts =)

p.s. not a new ager =)

Its just some paganism that is really quite old, rehashed and remixed.

The Buddhism of the question for those who have practiced teaching Insight Meditation and possibly for at least 5 years

By Ajahn Brahmavamso: the quality of attention that the doorman speaks http://www.bswa.org/modules/icontent/index.php?page=80 and instruct us Gatekeeper during meditation. Who or what exactly is the gatekeeper? Is it merely memory in the Mind? This is not an entity guides us is he? Would not necessarily think so, with a good understanding of Buddhism and Mindfulness (Insight) Meditation. Is it actually using the term 'The Gatekeeper' in one of Buddha's teachings or Sutta? Did you ask your Gatekeeper, each time you practice daily meditation vipassana? * What do you think This article and references to the Gatekeeper? Please elaborate, thanks. Thank you for your friendship and support – from a new practitioner of Mindfulness Meditation Insight /.

Hello The subconscious. Or rather be aware. Pam

What a better martial art / self-defense to learn: Jiu-Jitsu or Kung Fu?

I want to train in some something that is more reverse Aggressive against them rather than attacking. Although sometimes the attack is inevitable. And of course I want to be able to use the martial art and meditation.

You can learn a lot of jiu-jitsu quicker than Kung Fu. Learn Kung Fu can correctly take decades! EDIT: Re: some messages from other … If you are just learning the techniques of combat, then you are not learning Kung Fu.

Why ignore the Hindu avatar 10th Buddha?

Buddha was a real one. Having existed physically and bones available to see today again, and its ideology, thought and practice of meditation available. But why choose to ignore the Hindu gods and Buddha, whose existence is rather dubious. I do not know. Buddha was not Buddhist. Buddha was a Hindu thinker and a great person who has all the qualities of an avatar. Buddha had the same chakra in his feet, as Krishna had. Besides the Buddha had all 32 signs on his body which has to be on the body of an avatar. Buddha had knowledge of the supernatural. In fact, if you compare, Buddha is the greatest Hindu ever born. Swami Vivekananda said: "Among the men born on earth ever I do not see that tejasvi (large) as Buddha. Hindus generally think of Swami Vivekananda as the greatest Hindu, but he welcomes the Buddha higher at most. Then why? honest answers plz.

Because what he said was still valid at the time, but was not cogruence with the Vedas. We bow before Budhdha, but not follow Him. Although embodies prophecises Krishn and not in conformity with the Vedas the, say hello, but not that.
