manifestation meditation

What is SyncCreation?

I found a flyer at a local bookstore. The brochure says it is a demonstration Workshop and lectures on the use of Hemi-Sync Meditations. Hemi-Sync I've heard before, but I have not heard of SyncCreation. What is SyncCreation? Thanks!

SyncCreation is a series of meditation audio CD focus on expressing and creating things of life. I can use the kit home study-book what they offer and I love it! During my pregnancy MUCH helped me relax and assisted me in the direction of my energy on what I was creating for my birthday (which went well, thanks!). Further, I swear I saw the essence of myself once in a free state of meditation that inspired one of my tattoos. (I'm putting a link for this) I have also gone to a couple of workshops lay. It was relaxing, enjoyable and rejuvenating. In fact, I have aa level of consciousness that I felt I could feel every cell of my body. One of the things I thought was cool during the workshop suggested that the donation to a charity as a group at first so I started with a note of peace. (I will put a link to which I was a) I experienced many results, so I'm really thinking about attending the workshops in Las Vegas they have. (It looks very interesting / out of the box, I'll put a link to it as well) Overall I would say SyncCreation has provided a lot of tools in my life. I recommend it to nadie.-Mimi (a working mother, wife, artist, homeowner)

spiritual psychology

Why mankind a spiritual being?

I want to know where the psychology of gravitate towards anything spiritual comes. Is it a comfort thing? psychology read them all, but leaving public vote

Unable to explain their environment. The need to believe that bad things happen for a reason. The fear that there is no meaning to our existence. The fear that there is no order, just chaos. Inability to understand concepts such as infinite, endless nothingness. The primitive fear that the fight against these things inspires in our minds. I think it's obnoxious to say that it is about power and control. There is evidence that religion could be partly about this, but the need for spirituality and belief in the supernatural just quite normal and universal feelings and perceptions of the universe we live, I think, but do not quote me on that, that belief in a supernatural force is universal to all cultures and periods known to date, which would suggest that either there is a supernatural force or it meets a need humans.

So I read that deists can pray…?

Alright, so I became a deist a few days ago :) and I read this on Wikipedia:

“Some deists do not believe in divine intervention but still find value in prayer as a form of meditation, self-cleansing, and spiritual renewal. Such prayers are often appreciative (i.e., “Thank you for …”) rather than supplicative (i.e., “Please God grant me …”)”

I like that, but I was wondering…how would a deist pray?

For example, Christians pray with their hands clasped, and sometimes kneel down. Muslims bow and prostrate.

How should I pray?

@ Acid Zebra, I am procrastinating when I should be doing something else. I just decided to ask this to pass the time and get some ideas :) @ Anony, I know, I don’t want to ask for anything.

The gift of life is precious enough, why would I ask for anything more :)

Ive never heard any rules about a specific way of prayer for christians, I know muslims have a particular method but in either case I dont know that it is verbal even.
Catholics do have the our father and hail mary prayers of course but I dont think that that is their only way of praying.
Prayer can be silent, it can be while you are walking down the street or it could be out loud.
The important part is your thoughts.

What are the reiki chakras and reiki healing techniques ?

What are the reiki chakras and reiki healing techniques .how reiki is helpfull in self treatments ?

Hello

Chakras are Chakras, Reiki simply uses them.

For Reiki healing techniques you will need to find a Master to teach you, but prices can be reasonable.

Reiki helps to release negative energy.

Was it possible to do meditation every day?

I once tried to be aware of my breath for any Day 1 and that day I felt very calm and I treated my friends better. Is it goes well if I am aware of my breathing to my life as I treat people better?

Awareness of breathing is one of the methods by which meditation, but that itself can not be considered as meditation. It can be called "concentration to be more precise, meditation is a" mindless state. "Concentration is "stream of thought on one subject" Meditation is a fall, as the single thought. According to different scripts yoga, 12 minutes lead concentration meditation 12 minutes of meditation can lead to samadhi.

mind healing

Can the Bio psychosocial model be used as a basis for spiritual healing?

Can the Bio psychosocial model be used as a basis for spiritual healing?

In other words, can spiritual healing be based on this model to work effectively?

My general thoughts are:
- If someone is in a positive environment where people are praying for them, then they should show signs of improvement.

- The power of the mind is very powerful

Any help would be great, thanks.

The biopsychosocial model is taught to medical students for the last few generations, especially to those that go into family medicine.

It basically means to consider the entire patient…not just their disease. Consider their personality, their family, their cultural background and their religious and spiritual beliefs and how this might impact on their understanding of the disease, and any treatment.

You are talking about something quite different. First of all, while I use the BPS model in my clinical practice, I’m an atheist myself, so I don’t believe that people have souls or spirits. I do however, encourage patients to use whatever resources they have, or they find comforting.

The mind is indeed very powerful….that is why so many Alt Med practices may seem to help people sometimes via the placebo response. People “feel” better, but they don’t actually “get” better…unless they were going to anyway because it’s a self limited illness or goes into remission or regresses to the mean.

Prayer or a positive mental attitude make no difference whatsoever in the course of an illness or disease. This is without any doubt as numerous studies have confirmed.

There is also some evidence that encouraging people to pray, think positively or do visual imagery may actually be harmful, as when people then don’t’ get better, they may blame themselves or may be blamed by others for “not trying” hard enough or not believing strongly enough. It’s always the last out for the unfalsifiable pseudosciences.

compassion

compassion
compassion
How do you cultivate compassion without becoming a doormat?

I’m interested in Buddhism and would like cultivate more compassion for everyone. I’d like to become more helpful to people but at the same time I know that there are people around who would take advantage of someones willingness to try to be kind to everyone. My question is this: How do you cultivate compassion without getting walked all over by people?

If someone gets the idea they can get away with just anything, it can cause them (and their friends, family, co-workers and neighbors) all sorts of trouble. Compassion would require that you not enable that situation. But you can go wild with such courtesies as holding the door for someone carrying packages, letting waiting drivers into the stream of traffic, picking up things people dropped and returning it to them, or just paying attention. You will still get cheated occasionally, but it will be so worth it!

Also do the meditation on metta, as described at about the third paragraph of
