Where can I buy crystals in RI, MA, CT area?

I did research on crystals and I'm intrigued. I am looking for some for meditation. I have seen many online stores, but I read that you should feel the crystal and it feels right, but you can not do it online I live in RI, I know a place in Wickford, but they do not have a huge selection, so I was wondering if there were stores in other locations.

Try Center For The Soul, Swansea, MA … near the center of Swansea. They used to achieve them.

i m not able to download quick heal total security from from net or cd, plz help?

If you have no Internet connection at your home computer, try to connect to an other computer which has Internet on it and access the home page of the antivirus software, download the trial version of it and try the application.
Here is the link for the software you want to download:

http://www.quickheal.co.in/downloads.asp#3

If you have no CD-ROM than you need to use an USB stick to copy the data to your computer.

Contacting spirit guides?

Hey well i’m not really gonna get in to everything but when i was little i had loads of expierences with spirits, i used to get hit by them every night when i was about 7/8 years old until i woke up to a man standing in my room which i think was my guide, i think he made the bad spirit who was hitting me to leave and since on then i never saw any spirits and heard them and during the years (I am 16 now) it has blocked things out as time has gone on because of stress and situations. My feelings and sences have and are gradually going aswel. I am very curious now about the paranormal and i have been told i am a crystal child so i’m learning more about that but there isn’t many places for me to go to get help about all this. I also would like to speak to my spirit guides and contact them so they can help me in my life with personal stuff or help me with my spiritual awareness. I have tried meditations but they don’t really work for me, i can try some but i don’t really know many.
Thanks

i recommend reading this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Angel-Tech-Shamans-Reality-Selection/dp/1561840092/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1216649316&sr=8-1

you can find an interview with the author here:

http://www.technoccult.com/

results with meditation can be very subtle and can also take a while to manifest. i’d recommend keep practicing, even if only for the value of learning patience and focus from sitting still for a while. if you want to master the subtle realm then you need patience and focus for sure.

also the work of ken wilber is also very valuable but maybe a bit more advanced, heavy reading:

http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=ken%20wilber&index=blended

good luck and don’t forget to stay grounded and remember how to be an ordinary girl so you can fool people when you have to.

Is Tai Chi right for me?

I’ve recently fallen in love with martia arts, not the fighting part of it, but the meditation and art of it. I want to learn a type of martial arts that is swift and includes meditative techniques, but isn’t exactly slow. I thought about Tai Chi, but all of the videos I have watched on it seem like it’s more of a dance, and I want something that has more action in it. Can anyone help me out?

ps: I know this sounds stupid, but if you saw the movie “the fountain”, the scene where Tom is silhoetted against the stary background has the martial arts I would like to learn.

Actually it may be perfect for you. Sure Tai Chi in the early stages is not a very effective Martial Art, but in the LONG RUN, it is very effective because you learn to move and use your opponents energy against them and for your favor. It is also wonderful for the internal quest that you will undertake as well. You say that meditation and such is important to you so I would say Tai Chi would be good for you IMO.

It has many benefits to it with your health and maintaining your energy levels as well as manipulating your Chi (Ki) better than many other art forms teach. It is a long journey on the Tai Chi path but if you stay with it then it will be a well worthy path to have taken.

Enjoy it.

Wiccan’s and other pagans: is an athame an acceptable gift?

I really don’t know that much about the religions, so I decided to ask those who know. I would like to present my girlfriend (Wiccan) with a dagger emblazoned with my personal meditation sigil. Would this be an acceptable gift? If not, please explain the reason.

Yes it is a personal gift, and a very thoughtful one. You have mentioned before that she is new to the craft. I think she would be pleasantly surprised and honored that you have been so thoughtful of her needs as a beginner. She should be proud to have your support! Maybe, as time goes by, and she become more familiar with ritual, she will find another that calls to her. But as a beginner, I would think it will bring her comfort and security on her new path. But remember that sometimes we outgrow our beginnings…you should look forward to seeing that also! ; )

Yoga is for me?

While yoga classes became "furious" fitness and wellness centers across the country, have you Ever wonder, 'Is yoga for me? "Maybe you have already decided that yoga is not your" cup of tea " since you can barely reach your knees, not to mention your toes! Or maybe you were intimidated by the time the almost unpronounceable Sanskrit names-for Most yoga poses. I know what you think: "How can I do something I can not even say?" Whether you have thought or predetermined Let me suggest some reasons it would be interesting to give you a try yoga. Did you know that yoga …

• Help relieve Pain, pain and / or stiffness of muscles by improving blood circulation and oxygen to the suffering areas.

• Increases resistance Overall body and your many yoga postures involve muscles and organs that are neglected in the west typical work-out.

• Increased range of motion of joints and strengthens muscles, tendons and ligaments surrounding the joints.

• Improves breathing and includes breathing exercises that can help reduce asthma.

• Increased traffic leading to greater energy and vitality.

• Can help reduce blood pressure so high.

• Helps improve digestion and can handle symptoms of IBS.

• Improves quality of sleep.

• Increases the accuracy and clarity by you learn to always in mind.

• Promotes self-awareness and self-acceptance.

• May reduce symptoms of depression by improving mood and promoting a positive outlook, thus reducing dependence on drugs.

• Induces Reply relaxation in the body to instill a deep sense of calm and relaxation.

Just ask yourself, how many of these things apply to you? And the beauty of yoga is that there are so many styles of practice for all shapes, sizes and ages! So it really does if you can touch your toes or not … or can pronounce the Sanskrit name or not – it is simply not necessary.

There is no "one size fits all "when it comes to yoga. In fact, yoga is actually one of the most personal forms of single exercise you can do because it involves both self-acceptance, self-awareness and self-discovery.

The fact of the matter is that the coherence yoga routine – performed at any what level of intensity and flexibility – is a perfect complement to the hectic lifestyle of today. Yoga goes beyond exercise physically and become just a personal practice of holistic wellness.

So, to return to the question we started … "Yoga is for me? "Give yourself the chance to experience its benefits – if you were skeptical, you might be surprised by your answer!
