Meditation- reccomend good books/ cd for beginner?

I have done a day workshop and found yoga nidra unlike any peace I have ever felt. I need to let go of stress at the end of the day and also be motivated when I wake up…..

There are many good guide books for meditation. My favorite is “Breathe! You are Alive” by Thich Nhat Hanh,

http://www.amazon.com/Breathe-You-Are-Alive-Awareness/dp/0938077937/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1197032428&sr=8-1

, because I find this less dogmatic than most. Meditation often comes with a specific dogma, or religion, but it doesn’t have to. Just slow your breathing, I find sitting in front of a clock helpful, to about 3 Breaths per Minute. Do this for 15 minutes every day and you’ll see improvements in your health. Psychological and Physical.
