Development and metaphysical disciplines part 1

The need for a guru

In the spiritual, metaphysical way, various disciplines and exercises are conducted to help the awareness and development of faculties and virtues of the deity inside. To align with the Higher Self, one must submit to the process of purification and to carry out the meditative exercises. Meditation, concentration, visualizations, chants, esoteric rituals, and other spiritual disciplines are used as aids on the path of spiritual and metaphysical. In order to follow the path a spiritual or metaphysical Guru is indispensable as a way-shower. Adept guru or have been on the spiritual path for many years, or for the greater part of his life, or even several lives is qualified to guide the aspiring enthusiast. Treading the spiritual path alone, without external assistance and guidance is a difficult task. Only a few great souls are able to do so. However, it should be noted that under the occult tradition and revelation, even the great souls like Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad had relations with Guru-Chela spiritual masters, both physical and not physical. Spiritual external tutors are here to "push" or motivate candidates, like the divine Master is present within our beings to "fire" inside us, to help us move towards the inner light.

The book learning has its drawbacks: First, we are unable to bask in the presence of a guru. A true guru radiates powerful energies that stimulate dormant in the souls its immediate vicinity. The master has invited the energy level of those around him to step-up frequency. Permanently in the presence of a Guru gradually transformed its vehicles microcosmic greater expression. A faster spiritually close to being a master spiritual. It is like a magnet that bit of iron induced to become magnetized as it is simply by association.

Second, the books does not provide all the keys or metaphysical knowledge that would open doors to higher worlds or higher states of consciousness. Many keys are omitted in the books. Thirdly, the book hardly presents a two-way interaction provides a Guru-Chela relationship. Of these three points (And there are more), we can see how necessary it is to have a way-shower. authentic spiritual and metaphysical teachers are not easy to find or met. We meet a true spiritual guide partly because of spiritual merit. There is a secret, saying: "When the student is ready, the master appears. "The student must prepare for the advent of the Master of a certain soul level, by the spiritual works and study. Be aware, however, that these individuals posing as spiritual metaphysical Experts and Masters are hardly what they claim to be. This is Therein lies the problem for the novice secret – how to discern the true master of the "false prophet", or the wolf in sheep's clothing and true pastor of the Spirit.

In the traditional teachings of Christianity tells us that Saint-Pierre, one of the apostles of Christ, the guards portals for the Kingdom of Heaven. He holds his hands various keys that unlock the door and let the soul to cross the threshold and enter a world of delights heavenly, in a country where one could pick and eat fruit from the Tree of Life. The average Christian interprets this instruction to the letter. Indeed, it is simply an allegory, a precept esoteric reference to the principle that a spiritual guru or Murshid, (Saint-Pierre) is needed to guide his spiritual development. The spiritual guru holds and retains the key metaphysical (mystical / magical) development. By applying the (cosmic laws and spiritual principles) that the guru transmits his disciples, it would be possible to acquire a spiritual consciousness (the Kingdom of Heaven) and eat the fruit of the Tree of Life (a constant awareness of immortality).

In the early days of Christianity, "Priests" functioned as gurus and not just as preachers. In the following centuries, the priesthood has lost the keys to heaven because of their corruption and degeneration. They then grew envious of those who have the keys, gnosis or spiritual, esoteric knowledge. Was one of the factors that instigated the attack on the orthodox Christian sect called Gnostics. These Gnostics were the guardians of the secret esoteric spiritual teachings of the Essenes, the Lord Jesus and the divine avatars.

Now we know that all spiritual gurus are same level of evolution. They are of different grades of initiation. Some gurus offer their services specifically for the masses, the average person in the street, others are here on the physical plane to help people at high advanced, or those of discipleship to reach the opening first and second in the world. Rarely do we find experts who are real enthusiasts and Masters guide those who heard the call of the soul attain liberation, enlightenment, and ascension. Everyone who is interested in the metaphysical and spiritual culture will be at the door of the guru is most appropriate to its stage of development of the soul. When he grows spiritually to a certain degree with the advice his Master, he may eventually be driven to find other gurus of a ray-Ashram graduate or different for other instructions esoteric or develop a different soul .. quality

Metaphysical Development

In the path metaphysical development, it would be beneficial and useful for the spiritual aspirant to study the spiritual teachings of various religions and philosophies. All This would help to refine its core characters and expand its metaphysical knowledge is beneficial. The student must also ease to study the teachings of alchemy or Zen. By exploring the different teachings, we do not mean that we must build his philosophy on the basis of spiritual syncretism. That would hardly work if we try to integrate the superficial aspects dogmatic religion. What we would like students of metaphysics to the probe is the essence or core of religion, the source of all religions, or the Gupta Vidya – the Ageless Teachings. In the Old Testament, for example, we have been warned by God to walk the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16). This path "old" is a term for the esoteric teachings Ageless, or ancient wisdom. Proponents of the "New Age" movement may take into consideration the revelations received by the phenomenon of "channeling" as something new, but the essence of what is revealed nothing new and is in the spiritual teachings of all ancient cultures. We warn the novice not to speculate too much emphasis or what is above in the cosmos. It really does not matter what or who is "up there", if it is "Ashtar", "Kryon," or the Pleaidians "or any other creatures fluttering around their vehicle Merkabah, what really counts is what is in you. Pay attention to this, for the task. Create your character, your spirituality, the state of your evolution and your conscience. Unfold the unconditional love and compassion. Beware of self-sufficiency and arrogance, thinking you know everything, or more than others.

The first step spiritual development is the purification of the most down the microcosm of all the physical and mental toxins, negative energies, the complex psychological and attachments, karmic effects, record and memory, and transcendence of false ego. Not only do these unwanted energies to be thrown or transmuted, the spiritual aspirant must also be careful not to be generated by the mind and emotions or lured into the microcosm force field creating a focal point for thinking and feeling negative. Conversely, the aspirant must strive to express the divine qualities the Spirit, such as compassion, tolerance, affection, beauty, order, generosity, altruism, etc. In Yoga philosophy of Patanjali these two steps are called Yama and Niyama. They include religious back and not make moral teachings.

According to Patanjali metaphysical system development, breathing and physical exercises should then be made to maintain a healthy body and life. They are called Pranayama and Asana, respectively. Pranayama actually means controlling the life force within the physical or etheric body, and not control breath that some occultists would have us believe. Asana means "body-position." In the Hatha yoga teaches us different asanas to help maintain body Soft, healthy, vital body. Although beneficial to some extent in our system of metaphysical development we do not stress Hatha Yoga too much for this form of yoga is really up to the age of lemur (third race), where physical education was the basis of spiritual values development. In the days of Atlantis (fourth race), it was the Bhakti Yoga which has been of some importance, because it helped cultivated the emotional nature. In our current era Aryan (fifth race), Raja Yoga is essential because it facilitates the development of our nature mental. metaphysical development should focus more on the mental / spiritual level as it is most appropriate for our present Soul-Race. Below is a table and clarification of the above information:

1) The first race – Polarian – No yogas, race involutive.

2) The second race – Hyperborean – No yoga, race involutive.

3) The third round – Lemurian – Hatha yoga, related to physical / etheric principle.

4) The Fourth Race – Atlante – Bhakti Yoga, related to the emotional / astral principle.

5) The Fifth Race – Aryan – Raja Yoga, linked to the principle mental.

6) The sixth race – Unknown – Unknown Yoga, linked to Buddhist principle.

7) The seventh race – Unknown – Unknown yoga related Atmic principle.

But the return of our digression:

Following Pranayama and Asana is Pratyahara, or withdrawal of the senses from external stimuli. This act of withdrawing the senses Dharana results in a deep concentration on any point within the inner consciousness. deep concentration and intense a long period determines the state of Dhyana, or meditation. The climax of Dhyana-samadhi state, or a higher form of consciousness where one experiences the state of bliss and peace. There are different levels of consciousness in samadhi, for the sake of simplicity, we can designate them as "Christ consciousness" and "cosmic consciousness". The first relates to the soul, the consciousness of the Higher Self, or the triple aspects of the soul – The higher mind, Buddhi, and Atma. The latter, on the other hand, is linked to the Spirit-consciousness of the Monad, the divine spark in the microcosm. The eight steps of the above are often called "the eight-members of Patanjali.

In development metaphysics, we strive States still achieve higher consciousness. In the mystical teaching which is often represented as a climb to the top of a mountain and we are often advised by the mystics to climb the highest peak. In Scripture, when the story is told of mystical "mount" on the mountain to pray and meditate actually refers to a rise in the inner consciousness and not an actual physical journey.

In the early stages of metaphysical development, it is advisable for the beginner to introspect and reflect on the different elements forming his present desires, motives, ideals, attitudes, beliefs and feelings – all the psychological tricks forming his worldview, his belief framework his religious views, and his understanding of life as a whole, as well as its content. There is much that we take for granted, although we assume to be true, because humanity a whole or certain groups of mankind have believed in them for centuries. We have learned many things as "truths" of our elders our religious leaders, and educators and we accept them at face value, without any significant effort in considering whether they are of any real substance whatsoever. This neophyte has to address first and foremost in his consciousness. The beginner in developing metaphysical know why he is physically and what purpose cosmic. It has to discover meta-philosophical truths about life and death, and the real reason why he embarked on metaphysics study. In short, the neophyte must wake of his ignorance in the first cosmic level. Until he realizes that in its current state, it knows nothing, the neophyte has not yet reached the state where it can acquire true knowledge.

Development metaphysical involves getting rid of the demons of the mind, the idols that drains her energy. Idols are not just statues in wood and stone, they can be any what. Idols in our present stage of development are the soul and the glamorous illusions of the psyche. We can define the idols are nothing that distracts the mind the achievement of its obligations of evolution. Thus, television or the obsession with psychic powers can be considered idols and gurus irresponsible teaching without psychic spiritual fulfillment that manufacturers of idols. This is one of the avenues of dis-service (Dark services) offered by the fallen angels. In Islamic tradition Harut and Marut were two angels who taught mankind Fallen psychic / occult irresponsible. paranormal small arms and metaphysicians carry this tradition shameful.

Today, people who are interested in psychic are so eager to unfold paranormal powers. Note that this is not a spiritual purpose, because some time and somewhere along the spiritual path psychic powers will be released as they are simply blind our eyes to the inner spiritual state of the Light-Consciousness, symbolized the savior-gods in the mythologies of the world. Psyche unnecessary prolonged our stay in lower dimensions. psychic power can corrupt the human soul.

Get rid of idols or destruction is not an easy task. To do this we need the help of the strength of Christ, Krishna, or the light Mohammed. Invoke their power in your life pay more attention to their presence until the intrusion of demonic idols lose their power and their hold on you. Ultimately, you will truly be a holy one, and only corrupted by anything in this world – "being in this world but not of it. "

Watch Me Do Yoga

Watch Me Do Yoga

Watch Me Do Yoga is narrated by a child's voice as she goes through a series of yoga poses. We see her practicing with her dad, her mom, or the family dog, and sometimes alone on her mat. We see her in the garden, on the patio, in her bedroom, even sitting on a gigantic lotus. But no matter what the setting, she relates her yoga to the natural world. She stands like a tree or a mountain and imitates the actions of animals — a fish, a dog, a lion, and a tortoise. She celebrates her connection with the life around her and wants just a bit of attention in return. The upbeat text and appealing illustrations should encourage young children to practice yoga and their parents to practice with them.

Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrines

Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrines

$22

Books, audiotapes, and classes about yoga are today as familiar as they are widespread, but we in the West have only recently become engaged in the meditative doctrines of the East–only in the last 70 or 80 years, in fact. In the early part of the 20th century, it was the pioneering efforts of keen scholars like W. Y. Evans-Wentz, the late editor of this volume, that triggered our ongoing occidental fascination with such phenomena as yoga, Zen, and meditation. Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrines–a companion to the popular Tibetan Book of the Dead, which is also published by Oxford in an authoritative Evans-Wentz edition–is a collection of seven authentic Tibetan yoga texts that first appeared in English in 1935. In these pages, amid useful photographs and reproductions of yoga paintings and manuscripts, readers will encounter some of the principal meditations used by Hindu and Tibetan gurus and philosophers throughout the ages in the attainment of Right Knowledge and Enlightenment. Special commentaries precede each translated text, and a comprehensive introduction contrasts the tenets of Buddhism with European notions of religion, philosophy, and science. Evans-Wentz has also included a body of orally transmitted traditions and teachings that he received firsthand during his fifteen-plus years of study in the Orient, findings that will interest any student of anthropology, psychology, comparative religion, or applied Mahayana Yoga. These seven distinct but intimately related texts will grant any reader a full and complete view of the spiritual teachings that still inform the life and culture of the East. As with Evans-Wentz's other three Oxford titles on Tibetan religion, which are also appearing in new editions, this third edition of Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrines features a new foreword by Donald S. Lopez, author of the recent Prisoners of Shangri-La: Tibetan Buddhism and the West.
